Root canal treatment (endodontics) cleans the tooth nerve that has become inflamed or damaged by deep decay, a fracture or trauma, then shapes and fills the canals. The goal is to relieve the pain and keep the tooth in your mouth instead of extracting it.
When is it needed?

Is it painful?

Afterwards
